Olyanna Travel is able to tours to Chernihiv. It makes a very pleasant and relaxing day trip away from the buzz of Kiev. The city is an ancient seat of the Orthodox religion and has an amazing collection of stunning churches. It is built on the banks of the River Desna - tributary of the Dneiper.

It is remarkable in that while most churches in Kiev were razed by Stalin Chernihiv escaped unscathed. So it represents a typical town as they were before the communist regime.
